Mount Pleasant - Road closure

Due to refurbishment works at 126 Mount Pleasant (Centre for Lifelong Learning), Mount Pleasant will be closed at it's junction with Oxford Street up to the entrance to the Metropolitan Cathedral car park. The road will be closed from Tuesday 6th June until 19th September 2017, a 15 week period.

The road closure is required to allow the siting of a mobile tower crane which will be used to remove redundant roof structures and fire escape and to aid installation of the new external fire escape and mechanical plant.

Access to University and the cathedral car parks will be unaffected however drivers should note that access to Mount Pleasant will be from the Brownlow Hill end only.

FRCS apologise for any inconvenience caused.
