Volunteers wanted for study – Reimbursement provided

We are recruiting for a Language study.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how we learn what to do and say by copying others. For example, we may learn how to produce sentences by copying the way another person said it, sometimes with little understanding of why they said it that way. We are interested in how this initially simple copying can later give rise to flexible knowledge.

You will be asked to listen to a recorded voice produce some made up words and then will be asked to repeat what you hear. The entire session will take around 5 minutes. The session will be recorded.

Inclusion criteria:
English as a first language

Eleanor Rathbone Building

Participants will be reimbursed with £5 Love2Shop voucher.

If you are interested, please contact Rachel at R.Quinn@liverpool.ac.uk for further information.
