Participants required for paid EEG experiments

We are looking for healthy volunteers to participate in a research study investigating the neural basis of effort-based decision making using monetary rewards. We require male and female participants between the ages of 18-60 not currently suffering from neurological disorders (such as epilepsy). If you are interested please feel free to contact us at Adam.Byrne@liverpool.ac.uk.
If you wish to take part in this study, you will be invited to attend an experimental session; an EEG experiment lasting roughly 2 to 2 and 1/2hrs. This experiment involves completing a task requiring you to hold your attention on a small cross as well as a short task requiring you to make a series of choices. Both tasks will offer an additional monetary reward based upon the performance given and the choices made during the tasks. The EEG session also involves recording EEG data from an electrode cap placed on your head.
Financial compensation will be given for time taken and expenses incurred during your participation.
More details of the experiment can be found in the information sheet that will be provided on request. This study has been approved by the University of Liverpool ethics committee.

Please contact Adam Byrne if you are interested in taking part.
