Last Chance - Deadline Mon 18 November: ODA Seed Fund Up to 10K Available. Don't Miss Out.

Kickstart Your ODA Research Project.

The ODA Research Fund is providing pump-priming for research with Low or Middle Income Countries (LMICs).

This should position University of Liverpool researchers to bid for external ODA or development-related funding (e.g. Global Challenges Research Fund, Newton Fund). Deadline: 18th November 2019 at 4pm.

Enquiries can be made directly to restheme@liverpool.ac.uk

Funding can be used for:

• Building networks and developing relationships with international and UK-based partners, e.g. holding workshops, enabling visits of academics/post-docs/PhD students or other activities designed to develop ODA projects with international collaborators.

• Trialling ideas, developing concepts, proof-of-concept projects to produce pilot data.

• Scaling-up existing or already planned activities and projects.

• Consolidating existing activity previously funded by the ODA Research Seed Fund to maximise impact for developing countries (please note this is a new category for this year).

In this round we would be particularly interested in proposals for collaboration with any of ARUA's (African Research Universities Alliance) thirteen Centres of Excellence.

Proposals may be for a maximum of £10,000.
Decisions will be announced week commencing 9th December 2019.
Projects must be completed by 31st July 2020.
