Open Research Week 2020

Open Research Week 2020 10th - 14th February 2020

The University of Liverpool Library in conjunction with LJMU Library are delighted to announce Open Research Week 2020: A series of events during the week commencing 10th February to introduce, promote and showcase Open Research.
This year we have a wide variety of events, from exploring Open Monographs to responsible research and the ethics of sharing Open and Health data, with sessions on Open Publishing, Open Practices, Plan S and a Research Café, showcasing colleagues who are being 'open' in some way.
Open to researchers, colleagues who support researchers and the wider community interested or connected to research being carried by our Institutions. For more information and to book a place on one or more of the events taking place please go to www.liverpool.ac.uk/open-research-week
Open research encompasses openness throughout the research cycle, through collaborative working and sharing. Open research practice relates to all disciplines and involves storing, sharing and reusing outputs with the wider community, so everyone can access insights and knowledge much sooner, helping advance the researchers' work and support reproducibility.

This year we have been supported by the Institutional Strategic Support Fund awarded by the Wellcome Trust to the Faculty of Life Sciences University of Liverpool.
